NNt Bump Off
What happens if you are a Russian and decide to investigate/question the dealings of the Putin administration?
You get pushed out of a window.
You get shot outside of your home.
Same here, at home.
You get poisoned with radioactive substances.
You get murdered, execution style, in your own building.
You can't even come back to your home country on vacation without being poisoned!
Those are just a few people out of the many thought to have been bumped off under order of the Russian administration. There are many accusations, and the media has taken notice... barely.
When will the countries of the world put some serious pressure on the Russians? As was shown with Litvinenko in Great Britain, respect for the borders of other nations means nothing to Putin, especially when playing the game of covering one's tracks. The latest victim was investigating Russia selling weapons to Syria and Iran. That should be getting Bush seriously PO'd...
Time will tell on that one. I seem to recall something...
Oh yeah, this:
You are either with us or against us.
Get to work, Mr. President. Call Putin out at the U.N. Then you're getting everyone else interested in this. The U.N. may not do much, but at least the world will hear about it. Even verbal pressure from other countries should be enough to slow down the killing machine.
Do we really need another dictatorship in Russia?

2 Shots Fired Back:
For the life of me, I can't figure out why Putin is not taken to task for being ah, shall we say, a "shady figure"? He's been pulling Russia away from democratization, and he's been meddling in the Ukraine and other Balkan states. And you'd think that with the pressure on the Russian media, the US media would be all over that one.... Nope.
It's so amazing that this isn't more of an issue. The media reports on another death, and the next day it's all but forgotten. I wish I had more readers to get the word out that these people deserve to have their deaths mean something. They were brave and stood up to the Putin machine.
